Use case

Live moments the room can join

A live audience moment has to carry more than one person. People join from their phones with a quiz, an icebreaker, a reveal, or a public draw. A stage screen or LED wall is one way to hold the room, not the only place the play can live.

What the room sees

  1. 01

A join code up before the segment starts.

  2. 02

A question, a reveal, or a draw that is large enough for the back row.

  3. 03

An ending that still reads if someone walked in halfway.

How producers use it

Open a session

A short quiz at the start tells the room this is not a one-way talk, and it gives the presenter a real result to react to.

Hold a product point

One or two questions can replace a slide that the room was going to read in silence.

Sync the supports

The main screen and a delay or side screen can show the same moment, while the operator stays on the console.

A good fit when

  • The segment has a place in the run of show.
  • An operator can sit offstage with the console.
  • You can rehearse once on the show display or a close stand-in.

Stage work needs a rehearsal. TradeShowPlay does not replace a show caller, a switcher, or a backup plan if the venue network fails.

Questions

Can the presenter run the console?

They can, but we do not recommend it. Keep the presenter on the room and the operator on the controls.

Can a stage and a booth share an idea without sharing a screen?

Yes. They can be separate sessions with related content, or one session if you truly need the same live moment on both.
